Damilola Amoo is a dynamic broadcast journalist with Crest 91.1FM, Ibadan, where she currently serves as the Head of Business Development and Marketing. In 2025, she was recently honored with the Most Versatile Presenter of the Year award at the OSSAR Awards, recognizing her excellence and versatility in broadcasting.

A skilled communicator and strategic thinker, Damilola has consistently combined creativity with impact, driving the station’s growth while shaping content that informs, inspires, and empowers. Her work reflects a deep commitment to using media as a tool for social change and community development.

As the host and producer of Eve’s Lounge on Crest 91.1FM, Damilola curates conversations that challenge harmful traditional practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM), child labor, and child marriage. The program amplifies women’s and girls’ voices, promoting gender equality and advocating for a safer, more inclusive society. Beyond the studio, she expanded Eve’s Lounge into an annual outdoor event that convenes policymakers, NGOs, government officials, media professionals, and young people to collectively address issues affecting women and girls. The most recent edition notably included secondary school students and attracted support from several institutional partners.

Complementing her broadcasting work, Damilola serves as the Oyo State Coordinator and Media Director for the Initiative for Girls’ Right and Health Development (IGRHD), a nonprofit focused on empowering adolescent girls through comprehensive sexuality education and menstrual hygiene awareness programs. Through school outreaches and community engagements, she helps young girls understand their bodies, make informed decisions, and embrace their rights with confidence.

Damilola is also the Founder and Creative Director at Damstar Media and Communication (DMC), a creative media and communications agency specializing in audio and video production, public relations, and strategic consultancy. Through DMC, she has produced compelling jingles, documentaries, and advocacy campaigns that promote social change and enhance brand visibility for organizations and individuals alike.

Across all her roles, Damilola Amoo stands out for her passion for storytelling, advocacy, and development communication. She continues to use her voice, platform, and expertise to advance gender equity, inspire youth, and foster a more informed and just society.
